Barbie King serves as Senior Paralegal at Ted Smith Law Group, bringing more than 32 years of experience in legal support, paralegal leadership, office administration, and case management.

Her experience includes estate planning, probate, real estate, business law, civil litigation, legal research, case investigation, and document preparation. She supports the attorney by preparing legal documents, organizing case files, coordinating client communication, and managing multiple matters at once.

Known for diligence, resourcefulness, and close attention to detail, Barbie helps keep each matter accurate, organized, and moving forward while giving clients dependable support.

Carole has been a Legal Assistant with Ted Smith Law Group since 2018. Born and raised in the Philippines, she brings more than 20 years of prior experience as a Disability Examiner with the Social Security Administration.

As the first point of contact for disability clients, Carole helps make a complex process easier to navigate. She answers questions with patience, provides steady guidance, and works to keep clients informed as their claims move forward.

Outside the office, Carole is the wife of a retired military veteran, a mother of two, and a grandmother to four grandsons.

Crystal Joy Cordeiro joined Ted Smith Law Group as a Social Security Legal Assistant in 2019. Born in Agana, Guam, she comes from a military family and has lived in Texas since 1994.

Crystal helps manage the full lifecycle of SSDI and SSI claims, including intake, medical records, hearing exhibits, correspondence, calendars, deadlines, and coordination with the Social Security Administration and medical providers.

Her work is grounded in confidentiality, careful recordkeeping, timely filings, and clear client communication. Outside the office, she enjoys family and friends, the outdoors, concerts, travel, and time with her Aussiedoodle, Shippo.
