A passion for family law
Renee has always been passionate about helping children and families and followed that passion to pursue her law degree with a focus on family law and Texas Civil Litigation. With child protection experience
In her last year of law school, Renee had the opportunity to go to Austin and attend the University of Texas Law School as a visiting student. While at UT Law, Renee interned with the Hays County Criminal District Attorney’s Office with a focus on Child Protective Services cases and then continued her service to the State as a criminal and CPS prosecutor in Comal County.
Through these experiences, Renee has developed a love of family law and criminal law and is excited to expand her practice areas into wills, probate and estate planning with the Ted Smith Law Group.
